Jada Pinkett-Smith confirms love "entanglement" with husband Will Smith and singer August Alsina
There has been speculation over the past few years about Jada Pinkett-Smith relationship with R&B singer August Alsina. On the show "Red Table Talk" Jada sat down with Will and confirmed that she had an affair while separated in their marriage.
August Alsina had been hinting at a relationship with the actresses in songs like "Nunya" but fans thought that he was delusional. Will and Jada say that their relationship was in a difficult space and that their marriage wasn't a traditional one but a "life partnership".
The superstar couple have been the talk of social media when fans have speculated over the years that the two have an open marriage.
On the show Jada wondered why August decided to come out now and speak on their relationship when she said their "entanglement" ended four years ago. Alsina said he lost money and was black-balled because of the rumors with Jada, 48.
If you watch the intervention with the couple you can obviously see the hurt and pain in Wills face as he says, "I will get you back."
She cleared the air on Alsina saying that her husband Will, gave Alsina his blessing to be with his wife, she stated how she understood how Alsina may have felt that way but that wasn't the case.
"The only person that can give permission in that particular circumstance is myself", she said. "I could actually see how he would perceive it as permission because we were separated amicably and I think he also wanted to make it clear that he's also not a homewrecker, Which he's not".
At the end of the show the couple bumped fists and recited the Bad Boys movie tagline, "We ride together, we die together. Bad marriage for life"
